Cookie Policy

The short version

This site sets no cookies of its own — no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking of any kind. Our performance measurement (Vercel Speed Insights) is cookieless by design.

The one exception

The contact form is protected by hCaptcha, a service that tells people apart from spam bots. When — and only when — you open the contact form, hCaptcha's script loads and may set cookies that it needs to perform that security check. These are strictly functional: they exist to protect the form from abuse, not to track you, and they are never set during normal browsing.

Why there is no cookie banner

Cookie-consent requirements (such as those under the EU's ePrivacy rules) apply to cookies that are not necessary for a service the visitor has asked for. Everything described above is either cookieless or strictly necessary for the spam protection of a form you chose to open — so there is nothing to ask consent for. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will add a consent banner before doing so and update this page.

Controlling cookies

Every modern browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies entirely will not break this site's browsing experience; it may prevent the hCaptcha check on the contact form from completing, in which case you can always reach us directly at eelke@energydriven.me .
